Now playing for Dutch audiences is action comedy Coppers. It’s helmed by a trio of directors including lead actors Mohammed Chaara and Sinan Eroglu and filmmaker Jamel Attache who hit the radar for many of us as far back as few decades ago with gangland martial arts flick, Fighting Fish. Coppers tells the story of two streetwise detectives, Sino and Mo, who solve crimes in an unorthodox way. Sino and Mo have grown up in the same neighbourhood. From an early age, they learned how to get by on the streets and soon they grow up to be two streetwise detectives. When they find a lead that might uncover a massive cocaine smuggling operation, they see it as an opportunity to prove themselves.
