BEYOND THE INFINITE TWO MINUTES Clocks In North America This Month From Indiecan

As far as one-take feature films go, Junta Yamaguchi’s latest mind-bender, Beyond The Infinite Two Minutes, is nothing short of an accomplishment next to some of its siblings from other directors. It’s an inventive little gem of independent, low-budget sci-fi with tons of heart, and I was fortunate enough to go into it a little more in my review last year when it screened for Fantasia. Beyond The Infinite Two Minutes also bowed for audiences at Brussells, as well as London’s Arrow Video FrightFest and a US Premiere at Austin’s Fantastic Fest, all while accruing multiple awards and shows of recognition around the world. NIGHTSHOOTERS: Indiecan Lands November 2 Release For Marc Price’s British Dark Action Comedy

The wait is finally over as a new green-band trailer is now live Marc Price’s British black action comedy, Nightshooters. The film has finally scored a November 2 release on VOD from Indiecan, following its acquisition back in March after a run at the big screens back in late 2018 and onward to digital and disc releases in the UK in the following year. Nightshooters is the story of a group of filmmakers illegally shooting a low budget film in an abandoned office building slated for demolition. When they inadvertently witness and film a gangland execution in the opposite building, they have to use all their skills and wits to survive the night whilst being relentlessly pursued by the gang who are hellbent on not leaving any witness alive. Actor and stunt multi-hyphenate Kirk Caouette’s new film, American Badger, has been acquired by Indiecan Entertainment for its Canadian release according to Screendaily. News comes following our exclusive trailer and poster reveal upon its sales launch at the virtual American Film Market last November. Caouette, a 25-year stunt industry multi-hyphenate for film and TV, marks his third outing in the director’s chair for which Toronto-based Raven Banner now reps for international sales at this year’s virtual EFM. CONTRACTS: Indiecan Lands Alex Chung’s Award-Winning Action Feature Debut

Indiecan Entertainment has acquired U.S. and Canadian rights to release independent action thriller, Contracts, as noted from the official announcement forwarded by Screen Anarchy‘s Andrew Mack on Saturday. The film, which stars Alex Chung who wore multiple hats on the production next to writer, producer, director and action director, is also being repped by APL Film for international sales as of this year’s events at the American Film Market. Contracts is the work of several years from Chung who got his start near the turn of the century with burgeoning Canadian stunt group, Eclipse Stunts. Corey Stanton’s new movie, Robbery, packs in an exquisite, artful display of emotive brutality in a revenge story wrapped in addiction, pennance, and the price we pay for the things we give value to. What you may love the most is how much the score magnifies the film’s intensity throughout while keeping up with the unraveling layers of character development and plot twists that reveal the ultimate crux of what Robbery‘s tale truly is. The film begins with a table of casino chips and a painting as we meet Richie (Jeremy Ferdman) and his elderly father, Frank (Art Hindle), who suffers from dementia.
