Paramount Pictures unveiled a new TV spot for actor and director Kenneth Branagh‘s new film, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, which you can view above. Yahoo! Movies unveiled a new megaclip from Paramount Pictures’ upcoming action spy thriller, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit. The new clip shows lead actor Chris Pine with scene details depicting Pine as Ryan as he is checks in at a hotel where he is eventually infiltrated by a hit man played by Game Of Thrones actor Nonso Anozie. “That particular scene was hard because you have to fight in such an intimate space.“, Pine told Yahoo at a recent press event. “Nonso, the guy who plays the bodyguard Embee, is such a big dude and I’m not a big dude,”. Monday saw the viral unveiling of a new poster for actor Chris Pine‘s upcoming turn at the theatrical take of a classic Tom Clancy character in Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit. Late October reports announced the film’s push back from its original Christmas Eve release to January 17, 2014 courtesy of Paramount Pictures, and although there is still no official synopsis as of yet, it is said that the story takes place in the lead character’s earlier days as a CIA analyst who is sent into the field to uncover a Russian plot to crash the U.S. economy with a terrorist attack. We also have a first and second teaser for the film that reveal very little about what fans can expect, which is a lot at this point. Chris Pine stars in the upcoming release of the latest theatrical installation based on the work of the late-author Tom Clancy, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit. Little is still known about the plot of the film except that Pine plays a younger version of the role previously played Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford and Ben Affleck, who uncovers a Russian plot to crash the U.S. economy with a terrorist attack. The new international trailer can be seen below, featuring Pine along with Kevin Costner, Keira Knightley, Colm Feore, and co-star Kenneth Branagh who also directed the film. Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit will release this Christmas.

The new trailer for Paramount Picture’s Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit is now online ahead of its tentative release date set for Christmas Eve on December 25, 2013. Not much is known about the plot as of yet, although according to IMDb, the film sees lead actor Chris Pine reprising the classic titular character centered in previous films, this time as a young covert CIA analyst who uncovers a Russian plot to crash the U.S. economy with a terrorist attack. The film is based on spy thriller novels written by author Tom Clancy, who passing on Tuesday at the age of 66 made headline news in light of the new poster’s unveiling for the upcoming movie.
