Suffice it to say, I’m happy to lend my platform as it pertains to an upcoming stunt training workshop to be held in Austin, Texas for anyone in the area during the weekend of May 20. The workshop is sponsored by 87Eleven Action Design and 87North (if you know, you know!), as well as Janell Smith’s Iron Dragon Productions and Tukong Martial Arts in Austin where the event will be held, hosted by Professor Hugh Fitzgerald and Roger Yuan, and the teams behind the John Wick and Dune films. There’s more info about the facility on the official website, as well as the event which you can learn more about in this Facebook group. Special thanks to Janell Smith for the notes on the […]

It’s been five years since actress, filmmaker and producer Janell Smith expanded her Iron Dragon TV brand into streaming – prior to then asserting the local fandom in Austin, Texas with the annual Iron Dragon TV Action Fest. That event lit an immersive spark last year with the presence of actor and action star Tak Sakaguchi, and now Smith is stepping up the Iron Dragon TV brand even further in several areas, including original content production with director Kelly Riot’s supernatural action thriller miniseries, Joaquin. Actor and series creator Stefan Molina (Fine Lines) leads the series which signals the launch of Smith’s Iron Dragon Productions this year. Molina plays Joaquin Quintanilla, a lone, afflicted demon hunter guided by his newly-appointed angelic observer. During a seemingly routine exorcism, Joaquin stumbles upon a young girl imbued with powers that have marked her for death by agents from both Heaven and Hell, as […]
