The festival marks a first for Iron Dragon Productions CEO own Janell Smith, a proficent martial artist herself, who founded the film streaming service back in 2014 with an explicit goal toward the proliferation and posterity of classic and contemporary, hard hitting and edgy martial arts and Asian action titles by some of today’s top stars and directors. Iron Dragon TV is currently downloadable on multiple platforms.

Iron Dragon TV ActionFest is an international film festival devoted to the multiple facets of action cinema. A festival that honors the men & women who bring the audience to the edge of their seats with incredible action sequences. IDTVAF understands that it is not only the stars in front of the camera, but the crew behind the scenes that create this magical world, & dedicates the festival to them.

During the days of the festival, the programing will include screening of new films from prominent directors/stars, indie, & the next generation of filmmakers from the action genre. Industry heavyweights will also conduct panels, discussing their specific field & allow a one-on-one type experience with the fans.

Iron Dragon TV ActionFest will bring the exciting world of action films from around the world to the beautiful city of Austin.

The Iron Dragon TV ActionFest will be held between August 11 through 12. More information can be found at the official Iron Dragon TV website with a “Submit” button you can click at the top revealing the details of the festival and what’s to come.
