John Kissack’s FELIX Shoots This Spring From ‘The Grey’ Director, Casts Jeffrey Dean Morgan And Benjamin Evan Ainsworth

Jeffrey Dean Morgan (“The Walking Dead”, Watchmen) and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth (“The Haunting of Bly Manor,” upcoming Pinocchio) are set to star in the new horror thriller, Felix. Third time feature director John Kissack (Everfall) will helm this – his second horror pic – from a script by Casey Giltner, with principal photography set to start this Spring. Ainsworth will play Charlie, who, along with his best friend Jimmy, are making a movie with dreams of becoming Hollywood directors. When Charlie’s dad (Morgan) finds an old ventriloquist doll named Felix among his late mother’s belongings, Charlie and Jimmy immediately cast Felix as the creepy antagonist in their movie. EFM 2017: Henry Dunham's MILITIA Casts Huston, Morgan And Ineson

XYZ Films is leading the charge this week at the EFM for their line-up, including Militia which is set to film later this year. The film takes its cues from Henry Dunham’s 2015 Black List script which has been described as an intense, violent and suspenseful character study in the vein of Heat, The Usual Suspects and Glengarry Glen Ross. Casting Jack Huston starring as “Gannon”, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as “Olsen” and Ralph Ineson in the role of “Morris”, the film tells of the aftermath of a police funeral shooting wherein a reclusive ex-cop and a militia man nab a suspected gunman and try to interrogate and press him for the truth before copycat attacks spark a nationwide war. It’s been months and months since we’ve heard a word or a blurb about director Scott Mann‘s new movie, Bus 657 Heist. It’s a rather simple one I guess. I’m not quite sure what goes into renaming it, but at least we can finally put our curiosity at ease now that we have an official trailer making the rounds. It was recently reported throughout the media that MMA superstar and actress Gina Carano would not be returning to the ring anytime soon, logically due to her current commitment to her newfound film career. As such, the Fast And Furious 6 co-star and In The Blood leading lady of action has been the subject of numerous talks for roles in various films, including the forthcoming productions live-action comic book adaptation of Avengelyne and The Film House’s The Opium War.
