CLASH Review: Ngo and Nguyen, A ‘Clash’ Of Charismatic Badassery
Vietnamese action film from 2009 with all the flavour of the best Hong Kong action cinema, starred by Veronica Ngo and Johnny Nguyen, who also collaborated on the script. This film is an exciting ride, filled with heroic bloodshed and well filmed martial arts sequences, that follows the lead in style that Donnie Yen paved with “Flash Point” (2007) mixing traditional martial arts with grappling in the fight sequences, which makes the fights very original and creative.
