THE HIT LIST – April 27, 2015!

The past week was insane for me, as there have been tons of things I needed to get done whilst completing today’s Hit List. Fortunately, I’m making headway here and managed to finish knocking this puppy out all in a day, on top of wrapping up a special project over the weekend as well. There are a LOT of videos this week, but the very last one will undoubtedly keep you here for more news in the weeks ahead… …On that note, let’s get some reels going with new footage from the folks at Eclipse Stunts, as well as Tyson Arner, Alexa Marcigliano, Leah Petersen and Kyle Thomas Schmidt, along with a new fight reel from Wolf Stunts’s own David Conk who also released two cool test fights thos past week featuring Adam Lytle, Ben Aycrigg and Shane Ferrell. The Kung Fu Heroes Come Out To Play In A New Interpretive Action Short, THE WARRIORS

Adhering to a hybrid of combined classic aesthetic elements from the works of Stanley Kubric’s A Clockwork Orange, and Greaser subculture depicted in Francis Ford Copolla’s The Outsiders, the amazing folks over at martial arts performance team Kung Fu Heroes out together their first cinematic attempt at fight choreography on a little homage they put together during the summer paying tribute to the cult classic 1979 thriller, The Warriors. Considering the cult following director Walter Hill has earned from the film’s success, it is no wonder that up until director Tony Scott’s passing last year that fans were looking forward to what he may have had in store for a possible remake. Nonetheless, little gems like this are fun to watch as aspiring filmmakers continue to flourish in their creativity. D.Y. Sao is an award-winning martial artist, actor, stuntman and fight choreographer. His first venture into martial arts and screen fighting came between the ages of seven and thirteen, inspired by classic Jackie Chan and Jet Li movies. When he got into college, he gained the opportunity of a lifetime at the Southern California Wushu Academy under Sifu Chris Ho. His career path has since led him on a successful journey that continues to evolve, perfoming acting, stunt performing in such TV and film projects as Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight, Break, Champion Road: Arena, and even a small role in the 2003 film, Cradle 2 The Grave starring one of his childhood idols, Jet Li.
