Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will release River Wild on Digital, Blu-ray, and DVD on August 1. The film – a revisal of Curtis Hanson’s original 1994 thriller – is directed by Ben Ketai who co-wrote with Mike Nguyen Le.
A new reimagining of Curtis Hanson’s 1994 thriller, The River Wild, is now underway in Hungary from writer/director Ben Ketai (“StartUp,” “Chosen”). The announcement comes with a first look cast photo which you can view above, featuring Leighton Meester (The Weekend Away, “Single Parents”), Taran Killam (“Saturday Night Live,” “Single Parents”), and Adam Brody (Ready or Not, “StartUp”).
Joey Nolfi broke the exclusive at Entertainment Weekly on Tuesday premiering the official trailer for Henry Alex Rubin’s new crime drama, Semper Fi. Lionsgate officially rolled the trailer wide on Wednesday which you can now view above if you’re just now catching on.
