9 BULLETS Trailer Fires Away Online With Lena Headey And Sam Worthington
Writer and director Gigi Gaston’s new thriller, 9 Bullets, is out and about with an official trailer on Friday. The film was acquired in February by Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment Inc.’s Screen Media Films who will release the film theatrically and on digital from April 22. A former burlesque dancer turned author (Lena Headey) discovers a second chance at life and redemption when she risks everything to rescue her young neighbor after he witnesses his parents’ murder. Now on the run from the local crime boss (Sam Worthington), who happens to be her longtime ex, she makes a desperate attempt to get the boy to safety. Also starring are Dean Scott Vazquez, Cam Gigandet, La La Anthony, Martin Sensmeier, and Barbara Hershey.

Game creator Sakaguchi Hironobu’s brainchild, Final Fantasy, has stood the test of time for nearly 30 years. That’s a pretty long time to keep a brand going and I’m sure the crew over at Square Enix isn’t complaning; The epic saga has sprawled with a wide variety of canon and spin-off games, as well as animated films that have each garnered the attention of its fans, and following its most recent game release back in June, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and the game franchise’s staple over at Square Enix are preparing to release a fourth animated feature film in the form of Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV this Fall in lieu of the upcoming PS4 and XboxOne game this September. The only reason things are like this is because the U.S. government has enacted a program called “The Purge.” For one night out of the year, over a 12-hour period, all criminal activity, including rape and murder, is legal. Emergency services are suspended. Hospitals are closed. Nothing is against the law.
