LONDON KOREAN FILM FESTIVAL 2021: ESCAPE FROM MOGADISHU, COLLECTORS, A Youn Yuh-Jung Retrospective And More Strands Announced As Full Line-Up Goes Live

Those attending the 16th edition of the London Korean Film Festival (LKFF) will be in good company for the line-up being offered this year. Set to kick off its 15-day run between multiple venues starting November 4, some of the festival’s notable features will include the opening presentation of Ryoo Seung-wan’s hit political thriller, Escape From Mogadishu, with Im Sang-soo’s festival closer, Heaven: To the Land of Happiness bookending the festival.

Last month’s official line-up of titles for the 14th edition London Korean Film Festival (LKFF) revealed a worldly collection of films spanning its various segments to comprise the twenty four-day event. Seven cities and over fifty films will screen throughout London and with the promise of what is expected to be nothing short of an immersive cultural film experiemce.

Following this year’s teaser screenings, the 14th London Korean Film Festival will kick off its celebration of 100 years of Korean cinema. The festivities kick off on November 1 through November 14 before making its annual week-long tour on November 18.
