With director Zack Snyder honing in on his superhero movie-making skills for the next several years on with the Justice League films, he’ll be among several directors now embodying the formula to accumulate the long-awaited DC Cinematic Universe following Man Of Steel. That said, there’s plenty to look forward to from Warner Bros. with more Batman movies and so on, but it IS high time that our own Gal Gadot will be getting her day on the big screen this coming March in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice as Wonder Woman. SDCC 2013: Warner Bros. Announces Next Man Of Steel Film As Part Of DC Cinematic Universe

According to prior statements made by Man Of Steel star Henry Cavill, a Justice League would not be likely to happen soon unless other films were done to help create the universe to fit the characters. This was particularly the case with The Avengers as it had 2 Iron Man movies, 2 Hulk movies, and initial film installments of Captain America and Thor, both with sequels pending, and largely why The Avengers continues to be so successful. Also, interestingly enough, with Christian Bale retiring the Batsuit with The Dark Knight trilogy helmer Christopher Nolan‘s involvment with the sequel previously unknown at the time, there has also been talk of the next Batman film following the Batman Beyond story seperate from the Batman Nolanverse. The half-billion dollar blockbuster success and sequel provocation of the Zack Snyder-directed Man Of Steel has led anxiously driven fans closer and closer to the hopes of a Justice League movie that apparently can’t happen soon enough. Actor Henry Cavill, who plays the titular role told Entertainment Weekly about a week ago that it is not likely to happen anytime soon, and really, it’s out of respect for the creative process. He says “Justice League could be great if done correctly. It’s a very tough one to do because the DC comic heroes are all god-like in their power. When news about Man Of Steel initially came out, I’m pretty sure some people had their doubts. People are always weary of remakes and reboots. And I’m not innocent of that sentiment, because I, too, worry about how a particular property is handled in its adaptation. So when Superman Returns was released in 2006, there were some mixed reactions and it obviously didn’t get a sequel. Personally, I enjoyed it since it felt it paid tribute somewhat to the classic films starring the late-Christopher Reeve.
