We’ve reached the second half of this month-long road as we countdown a list of 100 titles to keep track of in 2019. As per usual, here is another fiver: Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi: Radha Krishna Jagalarmudi’s own take on the Queen of Jhansi tale is but one of two arriving in 2019, chronicling her reign on the battlefield in her campaign against British rule. Actress Kangana Ranault stars in the film which opens on January 25. Swords & Sceptres: The Rani Of Jhansi: The 19th century heroine is also the center of debut director Swati Bhise’s own efforts at exalting her story on the big screen starring Devika Bhise. This one is reportedly expected to arrive in the summer.
