Angelica Celaya Joins NBC's CONSTATINE
Actress Angelica Celaya came on my radar in the past year or so with the long awaited release of director Fernando Barreda Luna’s conceptual Grindhouse action short, Kiss Of Vengeance. Further updates are still developing on that end, although Celaya will soon find herself in the throes of a brewing war between the underworld and the living realm this Fall with her latest addition to the cast of the new NBC series, Constantine, based on the DC Comics property of the same name. Variety reports that Celaya will play the character Mary “Zed” Martin, who becomes John Constantine’s love interest as she joins him against the forces of darkness. Celaya’s announcement solidifies her role in place of actress Lucy Griffiths who will appear in the pilot, directed by Neil Marshall.
