MECHANIC: RESURRECTION Delivers An International Trailer For Japan's Release

Director Dennis Gansel’s forthcoming sequel, Mechanic: Resurrection, has been a little light in its marketing since debuting an official trailer a few months ago. Some promotional spots are online as well but there’s not a lot of noise, although I do know that there have been a few early screenings and the mood I’m getting is for that of what sounds like an imperfect, albeit kick-ass thrillride to enjoy when it hits theaters. All in all, fans of action star, actor Jason Statham may have something worthwhile awaiting them this summer with a story that follows up Simon West’s efforts back in 2011 remaking the Charles Bronson action classic. Statham Is Geared Up In New Stills For MECHANIC: RESURRECTION

Director Dennis Gansel is bringing the heat this summer with the new action sequel, Mechanic: Resurrection. Jason Statham is back and reprising his role once more from the 2011 reboot of Michael Winner’s 1972 film, and here, with actress Jessica Alba as our hero is forced away from his new life and back behind the trigger in order to save the woman he loves. Also starring are actor Tommy Lee Jones and actress and well-noted martial arts star, Michelle Yeoh, who you may not have known was in the film since she was nowhere to be seen in the first trailer. MECHANIC: RESURRECTION Awakens With Its First Still From Dennis Gansel’s Sequel

Don’t write off actor Jason Statham just yet. He may not be “transporting” anymore, but the 2011 release of Simon West’s adaptation of Michael Winner’s 1972 Charles Bronson action classic, The Mechanic, boasted high marks of its own at the box office for a worthy sequel as of late 2014, which still very much makes this one prospective of its own success. Said sequel now comes in the form of Summit Entertainment’s Mechanic: Resurrection, having recently undergone extensive reshoots in the last several months. I’m not much of a mobile gamer, much less a gamer at all. Nonetheless Glu’s latest announcement from Tuesday sure garners some appeal for fans as enticing as it may be now that they’re partnering with action hero Jason Statham. Sniper X: Kill Confirmed will be what lies ahead for anyone with a smartphone or a tablet, so I reckon a lot people will be glued to their phones much more when the game releases. At any rate, this should help bide time for Statham fans along with the forthcoming home releases of Furious Seven and Spy since Summitt/Lionsgate’s sequel thriller, Mechanic: Resurrection, moved from its original April date and won’t be here for another year on August 26…that’s a hell of a jump, and quite intriguing.
