In Banks’ bold vision, Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska are working for the mysterious Charles Townsend, whose security and investigative agency has expanded internationally. It was back in 2015 that actress Elizabeth Banks would then follow-up her feature debut, Pitch Perfect 2, with a second outing as director behind Sony’s upcoming Charlie’s Angels reboot. That hasn’t changed, and with a trio of actress now officially listing Kristen Stewart (Personal Shopper), Naomi Scott in her reunion with Banks since Power Rangers and British actress Ella Balinska (Midsomer Murders) to headline the new revival of the classic all-female 1976 crimefighting espionage spy TV series. Disney hasn’t really had it easy in recent days as news began circulating of its casting woes regarding Guy Ritchie’s live-action adaptation, Aladdin. Frankly, I was hoping Ritchie would get back to focusing on a third Sherlock installment but I reckon there’s still some script work to be done while that film’s star moves forward on finishing what he has left on a certain Marvel flick coming next year. Back in full force this week is director Dean Isrealite’s new movie, Power Rangers, now ready to make its presence known at Comic Con International: San Diego ahead of its release next year. As such, the campaign continues as we slowly inch toward a teaser, with a slow and steady rollout of posters and images to bask in – one now coming courtesy of USA Today revealing a new image of our cast in costume. As of today, we now have our first official casting with Disney Channel familiar, actress Naomi Scott.
