Scott follows a long line of actresses who’ve starred in the role on the small and big screen dating back to 1993 when Mighty Morphin Power Rangers first aired on Fox Kids, crossing over from its roots as a Super Sentai series in Japan; the series, currently celebrating 800 episodes, initially focused on the story of five teenagers mysteriously summomed and enchated with special morphers to defend the planet from intergalatic evil.
As of seven months ago, Earth To Echo helmer Dean Israelite is directing from a script by Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz for a release on January 13, 2017.
