only god forgives
The final trailer is out for Only God Forgives, and if you have been living under a rock and are just now learning of this movie, then it’s not too late. The film comes out in North America on July 19 from writer and director Nicholas Winding Refn, and stars Ryan Gosling as a gang enforcer living in Thailand whose crimelord mother summons him to investigate his brother’s death, which eventually leads to a showdown between him, and a rogue cop with a notorious, and feared reputation.
When Julian’s brother kills a prostitute, the police reaches out to retired cop Chang, known as the Angel of Vengeance. Chang allows the father to kill his daughters murderer, then restores order by chopping off the man’s right hand.
Radius/TWC has distribution rights to filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn‘s latest noir crime drama, Only God Forgives, in North America for July 19, 2013. Unfortunately U.K. audiences have to wait a little longer to see it in their cinemas before their release on August 2, 2013.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but Only God Forgives is looking better and better with every trailer that gets put out. Granted, director Nicolas Winding Refn‘s latest neon-lit Thai-based crime story hasn’t exactly seen the best reviews coming out of Cannes. But honestly, I don’t think a lot of people really care about the filmic critiques involved.
Awkward Table Talk, Some Jaw Dragging, And A Hot Skillet To The Face In New Clips For ONLY GOD FORGIVES
Three new clips have been made available this week to help showcase what awaits fans of director Nicolas Winding Refn for the upcoming July 19, 2013 release of the action crime drama, Only God Forgives, from Radius/TWC. I love a good martial arts movie, but drama is a plus….and boy oh boy, is there DRAMA!
It may be a while before Only God Forgives gets a wider release on July 19 after its Cannes’ run this May. But we still get to see another full trailer for the film, splendidly showing more action, tension and drama, coupled with fists, kicks and actor Vithaya Pansringarm promising you may never want to be in the same room with him if you are on his bad side, especially with that big ass sword!
Before announcing an time off away from acting, actor Ryan Gosling made headlines with an upcoming role in the latest action drama from director Nicolas Winding Refn, Only God Forgives. For months, fans were left to be satisfied with a 20 second teaser promo for the film, along with a synopsis and just a few recent photos featuring Gosling, as well as actress Kristen Scott Thomas, and actor Vithaya Pansringarm.
