Spinning off the classic Hong Kong action franchise into new territory with new characters and a new story, the film is headlined by the one and only Jackie Chan, along with Liu Ye, Huang Bo, Jing Tian, Zhang Lanxin, Wang Zhifei, Zhang Xiaoning and Guli Nazha for an IMAX and 2D release in Mainland China and Hong Kong on December 24, 2013.

A new report from the National Post is announcing that international action star Jackie Chan will be one of the celebtated attendees at an Asian film and art festival program titled A Century Of Chinese Cinema, at this summer’s Toronto International Film Festival Bell Lightbox. The event will be held between June 5 and August 11, featuring films including Chan’s smash hit classic, Police Story, and footage from his upcoming follow-up in the series, Police Story 2013.
