DOUBLE BOOKED: Adam Scott Heads Up New Revenge Thriller At Protagonist
Emmy Award nominee Adam Scott (AppleTV+’s “Severance,” Step Brothers) will star in and direct his first feature, Double Booked. David Levinson (Welcome Home) wrote the pic which is being launched at the Cannes market this season via Protagonist Pictures. Scott is joined by Academy Award nominee Sterling K. Brown (American Fiction, Black Panther), Peabody Award-winner Zazie Beetz (“Atlanta,” Bullet Train, Joker), and Alexandra Daddario (HBO’s “The White Lotus,” AMC’s “Mayfair Witches”). He is also producing alongside Naomi Scott for Great Scott Productions, as are Adam Goodman (Juror # 2) and Matt Skiena (Juror #2) for Dichotomy Creative Group. “Stranger Things” series co-star Sadie Sink is the latest to join the cast of Berlin Nobody, the new thriller from director Jordan Scott for which principal photography is now underway in Berlin. Sink joins Sophie Rois (Drei and Der Architekt) and German rising star Jonas (The Golden Glove), and Eric Bana (Hana) with a script by Scott based on Nicholas Hogg’s 2015 novel “Tokyo.” Berlin Nobody “follows American ex-pat and social psychologist Ben Monroe (Bana) who relocates to Berlin to further his research on the epidemic of cult mentality. THE DIVE: Survival Thriller Heads Up New Production/Sales Partnership For augenschein and Protagonist
Sophie Lowe and Louisa Krause are set to star in elevated survival thriller, The Dive, from rising German filmmaker Maximilian Erlenwein. Principal photography on will commence in mid-August on location in Malta and Germany. The official logline for The Dive reads as follows, according to augenschein: “A dive at one of the world’s most remote spots becomes a fight for survival for sisters Drew (25) and May (30), when rocks tumble into the sea after a landslide, trapping May in the deep.
