The film rejoins the director with actor Mark Strange with whom he previously shared the set for their most recent action revenge thriller, Rupture, which arrives next year in the U.S.. The cast also lists Warren Hicks and actor James Jay Bryhan, with a script by Gary A. Piazza which is based on a true story lived through Piazza’s own uncle, Scott, once upon a time. Better late than never, I guess. Folks who are subscribed to Tubi and wondering if any updates were made to director Ranjeet Marwa’s Exiled: The Chosen Ones following the streamer’s recent release of an uncolored version can now take a gander at it in a more color-corrected and finished format. I previously screened the film for a second time upon its Tubi release and in my review, I disclosed that the version the platform published looked like an unfinished film rushed to its release. Marwa took to the film’s Instagram account in a post the other day, citing a partial quote from my review while informing fans that his team “has worked around the clock to ensure that the version delivered to Tubi is much better.” Indeed it does. More notably, he’s also in toe with sci-fi cyberpunk thriller, Rupture, with sales inquiries still out and are still on the table ahead of TBD release dates and a hopeful premiere in toe for this year’s seventh Fighting Spirit Film Festival in the UK. Until then, Marwa is continuing to roll out stills for the pic via social media which we’ve shared below. Marwa’s new film. Azreen will play Noble, an ex-con who now walks as a free man, seeking revenge on those responsible for his incarceration. One of the more impressive and rather important aspects of writer and director Ranjeet S. Marwa’s new thriller, Exiled: The Chosen Ones, was getting all the pieces needed to complete his new film after wrapping principal photography late last year in Birmingham, U.K.. Alas, if you’ve been keeping up with Marwa’s social media posts on Instagram, you’ll have noticed the director cheering on his second unit’s completion of footage over in Jakarta welcoming the addition of actor Oka Antara (The Raid 2, Foxtrot Six)with a new look at his role as a rifle-touting assassin mysteriously eyeing a target.
