Netflix held its Tudum Global Fan Event live in Brazil on Saturday and was host to a bevy of upcoming gems. Matt Hookings stars in the Daniel Graham-directed pic “set at the turn of the 19th century” and centerd on “a gifted young boxer who fought his way to becoming champion of England under the watchful eye of trainer and surrogate father Bill Warr. The film also stars Ray Winstone, Marton Csokas, Jodhi May, Steven Berkoff and Julian Glover, and is also the current subject of internal pay disputes between crew and production. Zack Snyder revealed a trio of images via social media which you can view above, conveying some conceptual art for his new Netflix space adventure epic, Rebel Moon. The images come with the announcements of newly added cast members Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy, Shantaram, The Gentleman, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword), Djimon Hounsou (The King’s Man, A Quiet Place Part II, Blood Diamond), Doona Bae (The Silent Sea, Jupiter Ascending, Sense8), and Ray Fisher (Zack Snyder’s Justice League, True Detective, Women of the Movement). The aforementioned all join actress Sofia Boutella who was firstly attached to news of the project last November. Jena Malone, Staz Nair, E. Always the rabblerouser, filmmaker Zack Snyder lit up both ends of the candle this year with a four-hour rendition of his long-heralded self-titled Justice League on HBO Max, and action-packed dystopian zombie romp, Army Of The Dead, which has its own franchise currently brewing on Netflix. As of May, the latter claimed the badge of most-streamed title, beating out the recently-canceled Jupiter’s Legacy series, continual proof that the Sucker Punch helmer is what’s working for the streamer after his underappreciated run at HBO Max, and despite any and all fan fervor to get us all back to the DC Snyderverse.
