Nearing the final month before March 7, 2014 arrives, Warner Bros. is continuing to ramp up efforts to promote the upcoming release of director Noam Murro‘s new film, 300: Rise Of An Empire. Lucky fans and followers on Tuesday night will be able to attend special fan events in ten major cities to watch the first 13 minutes of the new film prior to screening the original 300 directed by Zack Snyder and starring Gerard Butler. In addition, fans also have until February 27 at 11:59pm to flex their biggest art muscles to showcase their best work for IGN‘s new contest where they can win some major prizes, including the helmet of main character Themistocles, played by actor Sullivan Stapleton.
This week, WB is taking you behind the scenes with some set pics you can check out at i09, and a brand new cast-and-crew behind-the-scenes featurette below with Murro, Snyder who served as executive producer, and actor Stapleton and actress Eva Green revealing some of the backgrounds of a few of the main characters in relation to both the new film and its 2006 predecessor.
