MAD HEIDI Official Trailer Promises Bloody, Gonzo Swissploitation Extravagance

Directors Johannes Hartmann and Sandro Klopfstein are still trekking the festivals from now through winter as folks keeping up with any and all things relevant to Swissploitation action horror comedy, Mad Heidi, can now spy an eye on the official trailer, online as of Wednesday. The film introduces actress Alice Lucy in the newest incarnation of the children’s book character now fit for consumption by masses keen to more R-rated grindhouse fanfare, and the trailer, ripe with exploding heads, action, gore and sexy, beefy Swiss women, and comic villany by Casper Van Dien who is no stranger to extravagant and over-the-top spectacle in cinema, certainly hints at a flick as grandiose and promising as it looks. MAD HEIDI Rages In The Latest Teaser!

Five years in the making with a massive ground-up effort led by film duo Johannes Hartmann and Sandro Klopfstein are calling on everyone who loves a good exploitation thriller for the upcoming release of Mad Heidi, a “Swissploitation” spoof of the classic childhood book character. The first teaser is already making the rounds, prior to festival screenings at Brussels and Zurich, and now looks toward theatrical releases in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and France from November 24, before rolling out its full feature beginning December 8 at its official website.
