FIVE FINGERS FOR MARSEILLES: Don’t Miss The Official Trailer For The Slick SA Western Thriller
Debut director Michael Matthews is finally out to make 2018 his banner year with the upcoming release of post-apartheid South African thriller, Five Fingers For Marseilles. Following a short, albeit robust film festival run and reception late last year, the first official trailer arrived this week hailing a seven year-long effort for Matthews who also shares producing credits with longtime cohort, screenwriter Sean Drummond. Twenty years ago, the young ‘Five Fingers’ fought against brutal police oppression for the safe-keeping of the rural town of Marseilles. Now, after fleeing in disgrace, freedom-fighter-turned-‘outlaw’ Tau returns to Marseilles, seeking only a peaceful pastoral life. When he finds the town under new threat, he must reluctantly fight to free it. Will the Five Fingers ride again?
