SPACE SWEEPERS: Jo Sung-Hee’s New Interstellar Sci-Fi Actioner Streams On Netflix In February!

If it feels like Jo Sung-hee’s latest sci-fi thriller, Space Sweepers, already came out, then you’re not alone. The crank-up began last Spring with promo images and teaser footage releasing back then, and sadly remained delayed like most films due to the pandemic. Netflix has since announced its acquisition as of November and thus, will head up an exclusive release on February 5. Phantom Detective and A Werewolf Boy director Jo Sung-hee’s new intergalactic sci-fi, Space Sweepers, was another that fell casualty to the ongoing pandemic affecting theatrical exhibitors in 2020. Going forward though, the film getting a guaranteed release on Netflix early next year with the streamer ramping up its K-Content initiative.
