12 ROUNDS 3: LOCKDOWN Brandishes A New Poster!
WWE Studios is on a roll with its feature film arm, particularly using the 2009 race-against-the-clock flick, 12 Rounds as a platform to build a trilogy of non-sequitur thrillers. This time, director Stephen Renyolds and wrestling superstar and debut actor Dean Ambrose takes the crown from John Cena and Randy Orton as he tackles the new installment, 12 Rounds: Lockdown, with a limited theatrical and digital release set for September 11 from Lionsgate.
SYNOPSIS:
Ambrose plays Shaw, a detective that returns to active duty after the death of his partner. When he uncovers evidence linking his fellow officers to a murder, they frame him for a homicide he didn’t commit. Trapped in his own precinct, Shaw will do whatever it takes to expose the dirty cops and clear his name. With twelve rounds in the clip and one shot at redemption, nothing will stand in Shaw’s way in this action-packed thriller.
