Spring Break is Coming in STRANGER THINGS 4

A final trailer for Stranger Things 4 has been released by Netflix. The new trailer offers a look at characters Eleven and Will, now living in California after the events of Season Three. Spring Break is coming, and with it, another dose of the strange and supernatural. Stranger Things is set primarily in a fictional Indiana town, where a group of children find themselves caught between forces both earthly and otherworldly, including a psychokinetic girl they eventually befriend. The show mixes horror and sci-fi elements with investigative drama, and has received universal acclaim, including 39 Primetime Emmy nominations with six wins, 4 Golden Globe nominations, and a Screen Actors Guild award, two American Film Institute Awards, a Critics’ Choice Television award, and three People’s Choice awards. STRANGER THINGS – SEASON 3: These Kids Grew Up Real Fast…

The official trailer for the upcoming third season of the hit Netflix series, Stranger Things, sort of reads like the end of an era of sorts. So much has happened in the events that took place since the 1983-set first season introducing us to a band of friends swept away into a supernatural tale of mystery and otherworldly danger and peril and government malevolence. Whether or not its shelf life remains is another story, methinks, considering how big and so well-received its been for creators Matt and Ross Duffer, 21 Laps’ Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen, and Iain Paterson. It’s too early to call, but maybe there’ll be more to the show after this. Maybe. Whatever the case though, it looks like the idyllic, innocuous town of Hawkins, Indiana is about to turn upside-down… Season three of Stranger Things arrives on July 4!

As a martial arts fan, I’m looking forward to seeing how good director Dean Isrealite will make actor Dacre Montgomery look in the forthcoming Ameritoku vehicle reboot, Saban’s Power Rangers in March next year. For now, at least one other prospect lies with Stranger Things, a series that has grown immensely popular since its July premiere on Netflix and with a vibrant cast and a tone akin to the phenomena of 80s cult sci-fi, horror and suspense.
