Kim Byung-woo’s TAKE POINT Opens In Select U.S. Cities Through January!

The Terror, Live helmer Kim Byung-woo’s new tactical action thriller, Take Point, is officially rolling out its U.S. campaign one week before releasing in South Korea as PMC: The Bunker. The film, starring actors Ha Jung-woo, Lee Sun-kyun and actress Jennifer Ehle, is poised for a strategic theater rollout across select cities beginning in Los Angeles ans Buena Park on December 27, and in New York, Texas, Hawaii, Colorado and Georgia on January 4.

CJ Entertainment proudly unveiled its official trailer this week for PMC: The Bunker – otherwise opening as Take Point outside South Korea. This film definitely aimed for international appeal in its production and packaging with Ha Jung-woo (Kundo) and Lee Sun Kyun (A Hard Day) as the film’s principle key Korean talents, and with Ha taking center stage in both Korean and English.

Nearly a year since popping up on our radar at the HK FilMart, Kim Byung-Woo’s Take Point is finally poised for release with a date to be set this December. There’s no exact date but an official teaser is now up and running host to the latest from Ha Jung-Woo who happens to be one of my favorite actors working in film.

The film is produced by Choi Won-Ki (The Chronicles Of Evil, A Single Rider) and reunites The Terror, Live helmer Kim Byung-Woo with actor Ha Jung-Woo (Along With The Gods: The Two Worlds). Also starring are Lee Sun-Kyun of A Hard Day fame with BAFTA TV award winning actress Jennifer Ehle, and Garm Wars: The Last Druid co-star, actor Kevin Durand.
