Sci-fi fans and geeks may recognize the name, Robert Sheckley, whose works span as far back as the 1950. Specifically, it was his 1952 sci-fi short story, Something For Nothing, that has since paved the way not once, but twice, initially with The Utilizer in the mid-1990s.
