Mr. Six helmer Guan Hu’s recent follow-up, The Eight Hundred, had a great sales show at Cannes for Huayi Bros. CMC Pictures took on the explosive WWII epic to release in the U.S., Australia and New Zealand and will likely coincide with the film’s mainland Chinese release slated for July 5.
