WEEKEND OF THE WARRIOR: Grandmaster Vic Moore Doc, Berry Gordy’s THE LAST DRAGON Topline Black History Month At North Carolina Film Event In 2023!

Folks in the town of Cary in North Carolina are cordially invited for back-to-back film festivities in early 2023, firstly to witness Weekend Of The Warrior, starting with Grandmaster: The Vic Moore Story, a new documentary from director and producer Christopher Everett. The screening will be a work-in-progress presentation of the film, hosted by the Town of Cary, Speller Street Films, and Southern Documentary Fund at The Cary Theater on Friday, February 24 at 7:00pm in celebration of Black History Month & African American Appreciation Month.

MASTER: Help ‘The Last Dragon’ Star Crowdfund His New Shaw-Inspired Kung Fu Adventure

A total of $75,000 is the current goal for the campaign which closes on December 8. Thus, Taimak will also be on the road before then to host event screenings of his hit 1985 kung fu thriller from director Michael Schultz at Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas across the U.S. through November 30 to help advance the campaign. Perks, of course, have been listed per donation so those who are well-pocketed with enough change and a keen interest in some cool memorabilia as well as on seeing the cult martial arts star in a brand new filmic narrative are more than welcome to pony up.
