Luke Goss Takes The Lead In His Directorial Debut, YOUR MOVE
Actor Luke Goss‘s recent films haven’t garnered the attention of mainstream Hollywood following his earlier stints in hits like Blade 2, Hellboy 2: The Golden Army and The Man, but he’s made a ton of direct-to-DVD flicks catered specifically to the action niche since then. This week, the Death Race 2 and 3 actor is now switching gears and multitasking on both ends of the camera for his latest upcoming revenge thriller, Your Move, signaling the film’s commencement about a week ago on his official Facebook page.
Triumphant Pictures CEO Cecil Chambers announced the project back in February with Goss set to take the lead as David Miller, a successful New York businessman who goes above and beyond the law to rescue his wife and child in Mexico after witnessing their brutal attack and kidnapping. Actors Robert Davi (The Expendables 3) and Luis Gatica (Misfire), along with actress Patricia De Leon andDavid Fernandez Jr. join Goss who wrote the script and is also backing the film under his G Productions label with Chambers producing the film along with ArtProd’s own Cedric Magnin and Anthony Topman executive producing.
News of the production also comes ahead of the forthcoming releases of Goss‘s next action thrillers set to release between now and next year, including director Christian Sesma’s AWOL 72, co-written by Chambers with Brick Mansions co-star RZA also starring, and The Night Crew with Jason Mewes and Danny Trejo.

'Diaries' Series Helmer Goes Rogue With Luke Goss In AWOL 72 Next Year
Long after putting forward his efforts in Chill’s exclusive online graphic action webseries, Vigilante Diaries, and the sci-fi horror thriller Lost Time, director Christian Sesma (pictured left) is currently readying his latest Mexican border action thriller, The Nightcrew with actors Luke Goss, Paul Sloan, Bokeem Woodbine, Jason Mewes and Danny Trejo among a list of other cast members. As of late, a few of those actors so far will reportedly be returning to the set with Sesma early next year in Los Angeles when he hits the ground running for his next film, AWOL 72, with Goss leading, according to the latest report from Deadline.
Directing from a script he co-wrote with producer, Triumphant Entertainment’s Cecil Chambers, Sesma directs AWOL 72 where Goss will play a rogue Marine carrying sensitive government information, which makes him a target of Russian special ops, an assassin and an LAPD detective. Woodbine will be co-producing as well as starring in the film as the assassin, in addition to actor, The RZA, who will play the detective, and Mewes who is being rumored to star as well; Mewes also appeared in Vigilante Diaries with actor Paul Sloan, both who star in The Nightcrew with actor Danny Trejo, which is set for 2014 release with a date to be announced further on.
In the meantime, the RZA is currently tapped to appear in Magnolia’s upcoming North American release of Tom Yum Goong 2 and director Camille Delamarre’s pending parkour action reboot thriller, Brick Mansions. He is also reportedly developing Sting Of The Scorpion, a spin-off sequel of the 2012 Kung Fu cult action flick, The Man With The Iron Fists.
