THIS BEAST: Kurt Sutter, Blumhouse Pair Up For New Netflix Thriller
Kurt Sutter has an extensive TV writing resumè with shows like The Shield, and blistering motorcylce dramas Sons Of Anarchy and its current spin-off, Mayans M.C. for a time. Even penning Antoine Fuqua’s boxing drama, Southpaw, proved to be a worthwhile feat to accomplish and now, Sutter will take the reins for his own feature debut at the helm for This Beast, inspired by The Beast of Gévaudan, billed as “a true story about a mysterious beast that terrorized a French village in the 1760s”.
