A new Marvel superhero makes her debut this summer when Disney+ launches She-Hulk: Attorney At Law on August 17. The nine-episode series was written by Jessica Gao and stars Tatiana Maslany in the title role based on late comic legend Stan Lee’s 1980 creation. Highland Film Group’s U.S. distribution offshoot, The Avenue, is slating a summer theatrical 2021 joint release with Paramount Pictures handling Blu-Ray, DVD, VoD and Digital rights for action heist thriller, The Misfits. Highland also reps international sales on the pic which wrapped principal photography in Abu Dhabi prior to the Covid-19 pandemic. Golden Globe nominee Pierce Brosnan (007 franchise, Mamma Mia!) stars as Richard Pace, a world-renowned thief who only steals from those who have insurance. Art Of The Steal helmer Jonathan Sobol’s new indie crime thriller has gone quiet under the radar until now with The Padre. An official trailer is now live and with some strong talent at the forefront with no less than Nick Nolte still draws compelling performances as does Tim Roth. Hell-bent on justice and revenge, retired U.S. Judge Randall Nemes (Nick Nolte) and his hired gun, Gaspar (Luis Guzmán), track down a small-time con man (Tim Roth) posing as a priest in a small Colombian town only to be thrown off-course by a scrappy 16-year-old local girl intent on reuniting with her little sister in the U.S. Also starring is actress Valeria Henríquez. Director Quentin Tarantino‘s latest film has quite the task to live up to with the impending releases of The Revenant, Point Break and Star Wars: The Force Awakens all releasing within a week part of each other. However, as extravagant as The Hateful Eight has been in the past few years up to now with the past several months giving us stills and a few posters to tease us with, it doesn’t appear to lessen the excitement much.
