VIGILANTE: William Kaufman’s Latest Spawns New Concept Art

One key ingredient when pitching projects at any film market usually includes some kind of concept art. Bleiberg Entertainment is in Berlin with their own package which also consists of William Kaufman’s latest, Vigilante, which wrangled through a ton of unease earlier this month when fan sites spilled the beans. Scott Adkins (Universal Soldier: Day Of Reckoning, Undisputed film series) is set to star in the flick rejoining Kaufman long since 2016’s Jarhead: The Siege, and Daylight’s End screenwriter Chad Law. VIGILANTE: Action Pic In-Development From ‘Jarhead 3’ Director, Scott Adkins In Talks To Star

Avengement star Scott Adkins is reportedly circling a chance to reteam with director William Kaufman for action thriller, Vigilante, according to news broken at City On Fire on Friday. The film also reunites Kaufman with screenwriter Chad Law who penned the director’s 2015 dystopian zombie thriller, Daylight’s End, as well as Adkins’s Isaac Florentine actioner, Close Range. Law is co-penning the script with Josh Ridgeway, and with Andrea de Liberato (Among The Shadows) producing. Vigilante centers on a disgraced soldier who wages war against the city’s most dangerous criminals, only to end up endangering the lives of the very same people he initially set out to help protect. Joker Game adaptation and Confession Of Murder remake helmer Irie Yu is back in the limelight for an original feat this time around. Vigilante is the name and with the story of a bitter reunion between three brothers in the wake of their father’s death, has Omori Nao, Suzuki Kosuke and Kiritani Kenta starring. Set in Fukaya, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. Ichiro (Nao Omori) is the oldest of three sons. He disappeared without a trace when he was in high school. Jiro (Kosuke Suzuki) is the second son. He works as a city council member. The youngest son is Saburo (Kenta Kiritani). He works as a manager of call girl service. Due to their father’s death, oldest son Ichiro comes back. The three brothers meet again forread morethe first time in 30 years. Distributor Tokyo Theaters will open the film on December 9. Catch the latest trailer below.

The amazing folks over at the Leeds-based cinematic stage action and stunt performance troupe SG Action UK have continued to show great promise over the past year with involvement in such projects as the soon-to-be-released shortfilm, Dog, and the short independent fight thriller, Vendetta, implementing their own contribution to the martial arts film genre. And this year, they have continued the trend, with upcoming feature film involvement in the works and developing a unique relationship with some of today’s aspiring film professionals-to-be, namely independent filmmaker and student Jack Downs whose enjoyement of films since the age of eight, and an initial penchant for comic book artistry led him on a path that would accumulate up to six years of study.
