THE LAST MAN: THE MOVIE Reunites Masaharu Fukuyama And Yo Oizumi For The Latest Feature Film Chapter

Masaharu Fukuyama and Yo Oizumi are getting the band back together for another round of action in The Last Man: The Movie, opening in Japan from Shochiku later this year. The new film follows up from the hit 2023 TBS drama in which Fukuyama plays an FBI profiler, prolific in his skills despite being blind, with Oizumi as the partner assigned to him.

Shunichi Hirano, who also directed episodes of the ten-part series drama, sits in the director’s chair for the film with a script by Tsutomu Kuroiwa, who is credited with penning the Tokyo MER franchise, as well as Shinsuke Sato’s live-action Kingdom saga. Shochiku has revealed a first look at The Last Man: The Movie with a teaser and poster you can view below.
