On days like today I’m reminded that there’s a ton of streaming content I need to keep up with. That includes the season rollout of The Silent Service on Prime Video last year based on the hit Morning Magazine manga publication, and starring Takao Osawa of Kingdom fame as the Captain of a ship gone sovereign on the high seas.
As it stands now, we have a sequel feature in toe with The Silent Service: Battle Of The Arctic Ocean which arrives in September 26 from Toho, and is also set to release on Prime Video. Kohei Yoshino returns to direct the feature sequel which was announced back in December, hailing from Amazon MGM Studios and CREDEUS.
