TIMUR: Official Trailer And Poster Revealed For Iko Uwais’s Latest!
It’s a big month for Iko Uwais and all things film. He’s just been added to Ilya Naishuller’s Road House sequel and will next appear in Skyline: Warpath whose Liam O’Donnell will also direct him in hospital siege thriller MRI.
The action star also launched his production outfit this year with Uwais Pictures and the first of two titles, Timur, now has an official trailer ahead of its December 18 release. The film, written by Titien Wattimena, follows a team of soldiers on a dangerous rescue mission to free a band of researchers being held captive by armed separatists.
I don’t necessarily know if that December 18 is a day-and-date release for other parts of the world although I can imagine this being a limited theatrical run here in the states. We’ll see. At any rate, a rescue thriller with some heart and punctuated by Uwais’s signature action sounds good to me.

Native New Yorker. Been writing for a long time now, and I enjoy what I do. Be nice to me!
