WAR ON TERROR: KL ANARKI Official Trailer Unleashes The Mayhem
War On Terror: KL Anarki marks the latest in Malaysian action this time from co-helmers Kroll Azry (“KL Gangster: Underworld”) and Frank See (Air Force: The Movie – Selagi Bernyawa). The film stars Aedy Ashraf, Farali Khan, Qi Razali, Daiyan Trisha, and Noki K. Clique, and opens in cinemas locally on November 23.
Khalid, a rebellious cop from an elite special force must prove he is able to work as a team in order to thwart terrorist threats to bring down Kuala Lumpur.
Perhaps of import is See’s own experience working on big scale sets with demanding levels of tactical action and prep as marine and military advisor and coordinator (see Paskal, The Battle at Lake Changjin, The Rescue and Operation Red Sea). As appealing as Malaysian action cinema has been and continues to be, I’d say a production like this is a good step up.
