THAMA Teaser Pulls Back The Curtain On Maddock Films’ Horror Universe

Hindi romantic horror comedy is on the horizon for folks celebrating Diwali at the cinema. The first official teaser for Thama is online as of yesterday ahead of an October release, and I’m inclined to share it as someone increasingly keen on Indian films for the past decade.

Aditya Sarpotdar directs a cast led by the beautiful Rashmika Mandanna along with Ayushmann Khurrana, Paresh Rawal, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. No tentative plot details, obviously, but the film is being touted as a love story, or “a bloody one” at that, and the visuals are enough that you get the sense of what the vibe is…

Perfect Fall season thrills and chills, in my opinion, although the buzz around this film is a little more voluminous given its shared-universe value with its predecessors at Maddock Films, partly including 2018’s Stree and its 2024 sequel.
