THE DIVINE MOVE Lists The Players In New Comic Book-Style Posters And Character Trailer!
A new character trailer is online for director Jo Bum-Goo‘s upcoming noir revenge thriller, The Divine Move, starring Jung Woo-sung. Not enough can be said about the premise as it invokes something truly original from the world of Korean cinema — a vengeful one-man war against an entire Baduk-playing criminal underworld!
Sold as I am however, Korean cinema goers are getting first dibs on July 3, so that puts the rest of us on the waiting list. In the meantime, check out the stylish new comic-book style character posters below released in line with the new trailer. You can check those out below.
Professional go player Tae-suk loses his brother to infamous underground gambler Salsu after losing a high-stake game. He is framed for the murder of his own brother and is locked up in prison. After serving his 7-year sentence, he gets in touch with his brother’s former associate Kkongsu, hermit and blind master player Jesus, and skillful junkyard owner Moksu and begins formulating a plan to get back at Salsu and his men. Taesuk slowly penetrates into Salsu’s inner circle and his gambling joint, and eliminates Salsu’s men one by one.
