AFM 2018: Action Thriller WALDO Casts Charlie Hunnam, Mel Gibson And Eiza Gonzalez
Upcoming Jungleland star Charlie Hunnam is set to join the set of Waldo early next year when cameras roll. Tim Kirkby (Fleabag, Veep) is directing the film based on Howard Gould’s 1982 novel with a story that centers on a disgraced ex-LA detective who re-emerges from his mininalist lifestyle in the woods as a private investigator to look into the death of an eccentric TV star’s wife.
Alex Ritman at The Hollywood Reporter also confirmed that upcoming Dragged Across Concrete and Boss Level actor Mel Gibson and upcoming Alita: Battle Angel and Kung Fury 2 actress Eiza Gonzalez will headline the cast for the action-packed thriller. IMR International is handling world sales rights at AFM with CAA Media Financing taking domestic.
