ANIMAL WORLD: Li Yi-Feng Clowns Around With Brutal Resolve In The Newest Trailer
If filmmaker Han Yan’s name sounds familiar, his amply noted 2015 dramedy, Go Away Mr. Tumor probably stands out first, though even more fascinating are the latest headlines he’s made for his two fantasy endeavors aiming for release this year, Dream Breaker being one…
The other, and not to be confused for the former, is director HanYan’s surprising glimpse into what looks quite the spectacular feat in Animal World with Li Yi Feng appearing as a man who transforms into one of deadliest and most kick ass clowns you’ll see on film. The most recent trailer shows this and much more with Michael Douglas also starring and all based on the work of Fukumoto Nobuyuki’s 1996 Seinen manga, “Ultimate Survivor Kaiji”.
The film has an international home at IM Global so we’ll learn more in due time about this project and where it lands. Chinese moviegoers can expect this one to land on June 29 in the meantime, and with a trailer that blows minds with some slick action, as well as solid visuals from the highly-decorated VFX wizards at Weta Digital.
