COLONIALS: Catch The Trailer For The New Sci-Fi Thriller From Epic Pictures

Epic Pictures Group is out with the trailer for Colonials, the new sci-fi epic from directing duo Andrew Balek and Joe Bland. An April 7 limited theatrical release will precede a digital release on April 11. On his mission from Mars, a space colonist’s ship is attacked by a Moon-based civilization and crash lands on Earth. Having lost his memory, he joins forces with the Resistance to save the galaxy from human extinction. Taking some cues from his 2012 short film Split Decision, filmmaker Antoine Allen’s fourth feature arrived in 2020 in the form of Lola, starring and executive produced by Taja V. Simpson. THE BOOK OF PERSEUS: Bryan Sloyer Pays Tribute To The Hughes Brothers’ 2010 Dystopian Epic

It feels like it’s been forever and a day since I wrote about Bryan Sloyer, which now brings us to The Book Of Perseus, the latest entry to his body of work as a stuntman and by all accounts, a filmmaker with a strong storytelling caliber and ethic. The short pays a great nod to The Hughes Brothers’ The Book Of Eli which starred Denzel Washington as a drifter backpacking through an apocalyptic wasteland, carrying a mysterious book that supposedly holds the answers to saving mankind. Sloyer also gives his account in the post-film credits of how the project came to pass, collaborating with actor and stunt performer Aaron D. Alexander to help bring the project to life, ultimately attributing it to his love for the film, as well as his faith. The short also features Caitlin Hutson, Zar Succarotte, and Brian Jansa.

KINGDOM 3: FLAME OF DESTINY Official Trailer Sets Ablaze Online!

Toho And Sony Japan have officially sprung the first trailer for the third installment in the live-action Kingdom saga hereby titled Kingdom 3: Flame Of Destiny, as we know it. Last year’s Kingdom 2: To The Land Of Faraway followed suit with the inaugural 2019 film from director Shinsuke Sato becoming a box office hit all the same, and with a release date currently set for July 28, you can guess Sato is ready to finish things on a truly epic note. A sequel to 2004’s New Police Story is on the horizon, according to Screen International’s digital magazine and Screen HK over at HKFilMart on Tuesday.
