Well Go USA Snatches PROJECT WOLF HUNTING For October Release

Deadline‘s Andreas Wiseman is reporting that Well Go USA has acquired writer/director Kim Hong-sun’s new action horror thriller, Project Wolf Hunting. The announcement comes just over a day before the official kick-off of the 47th Toronto International Film Festival, with the film set for select screenings beginning this Friday, and continuing through next week. The film opens in South Korea on September 21, with Well Go USA launching the film stateside beginning October 7. BARGAIN: Jin Sun-Kyu Gets All Shook-Up In The Official Trailer For The New South Korean Thriller Series

Folks particular to their viewing options over at TVing can possibly add another to their watchlist with the coming October premiere of survival thriller, Bargain. The six-part series is based on a 2015 shortfilm and stars Jin Sun-Kyu as a man trapped in the aftermath of an earthquake in a near-demolished hotel where his original plan for a simple stay turns into a nightmare, realizing the beautiful woman cajoling him actually plans to sell his organs to the highest bidder… …Yeah, it’s a lot to take in, so I guess six should cover it. The trailer’s got the goods too, and shows just exactly what will entail for our would-be victim of black market organ trafficking. The show also stars Jun Jong-Seo and Chang Ryul and is directed by Jeon Woo-sung.

It was a little over three years ago when the Bumilangit Cinematic Universe began taking shape with Joko Anwar’s inaugural action adventure, Gundala, starring Abimana Aryasatya in the title role. Less than a month away from its Japan release is the long-awaited gangster crime thriller, Hell Dogs, starring Junichi Okada and Kentarô Sakaguchi. Toei and Sony Pictures Japan are handling its distribution, which means we should see the film’s release outside the region at some point.
