BAD BOYS FOR LIFE Trailer: The Mike Lowery/Marcus Burnett Love-Hate Bromance Continues…One Last Time!

It may have taken 24 years, but it’s nice to see the zeitgeist in film fandom being met with some providence for film fans keen on seeing their favorite stars return to their roles. Specific regard here goes to the first official trailer for Bad Boys For Life which dropped on Wednesday from Sony Pictures ahead of a January 17, 2020 release. ONCE UPON A TIME IN DEADWOOD Trailer: Robert Bronzi Returns In Rene Perez’s New Western Thriller

While we await Cabal, Uncork’d Entertainment is knocking on doors this week to promote their latest release, Rene Perez’s Once Upon A Time In Deadwood. The most striking element of this apart from its aim toward fans of Westerns is the return of actor Robert Bronzi, whose gimmicky, dead-ringer likeness to a certain late film icon is still an attention-getter. ONCE UPON A TIME IN DEADWOOD concerns a notorious gunslinger who is slipped a slow-acting poison by an heiress and told he has three days to track down and rescue her sister, who has been kidnapped by a band of hoodlums and holds the antidote. Jeff Miller (The Toybox) co-wrote the script with Perez, and produced the film with Ronnie D. Lee (The Toybox, Ouija House) through their respective companies Millman Productions and Ron Lee Productions. The film marks Perez’s latest outing with Bronzi (formerly Robert Kovacs) after last year’s […]

WIRA: Hairul Azreen Brings The War Home In The Final Trailer For Adrian Teh’s MMA-Loaded Action Franchise Launchpad

“Your brother never told you never to threaten a man’s family?” As cheesy as the Fast franchise is to critics aplenty, that line is easily one of my favorites from Justin Lin’s Furious 6. Catching the newest trailer for director Adrian Teh’s new film, Wira, I was instantly drawn to that sentiment as it now pertains to the central story that unfolds in the new Malaysian action and martial arts thriller which opens locally on November 21. Hassan leaves home from a young age as he can no longer stand seeing his family and the people around him being pushed around by a man named Raja. He enlists in the military but after leaving it, he returns home to help his family and community. In order to settle the debt his younger brother Zain has incurred after losing an MMA fight organised by Raja, the two brothers team up for […]

JADE DYNASTY: Watch The Final Trailer For Ching Siu-Tung’s New Wuxia Epic

Action legend Ching Siu-Tung may not have earned favor with his previous effort on The Sorceror And The White Snake. He’s making amends nowadays with his latest, Jade Dynasty, stemming from the work of novelist Xiao Ding and with a new trailer in our midst as the film inches closer to its September 13 release in China. As for the film, we get actor Sean Xiao in his debut lead role starring as Zhang Yiaofan, a kind hearted boy whose life is thrown into chaos following the massacre of his village. Save for two other survivors, including his childhood friend whose proficiency lands him in the auspices of a Taoist priest, Zhang is taken in by a different sect to become a master of his own skillset. …I pretty much had to summarize all that from a simple search online which was much more simpler than I thought it would […]

CABAL: Catch The Latest Trailer For Rene Perez’s New Action Horror

Death Kiss director Rene Perez quietly followed up last year’s The Dragon Unleashed with another titled Cabal. I havent seen the former, although I do know it’s now available on Digital HD these days while Cabal aims to serve up another in seemingly obscure, low-budget action, cheese and genre fun for the fanboys. A high level military assassin is hired to hunt down and eliminate a serial killer who is committing murders in a secluded forest. When the Assassin arrives to begin his hunt, he finds there is something even more sinister at work. The film stars John Ozuna and Death Kiss actress Eva Hamilton. Also making an appearance is Argentinian actor and martial artist Juan Manuel Olmedo who we’ll be learning more about going into 2020 as long as recent prospects hold up.
