Bite Down On The Latest Trailer For IFC Midnight’s THE FEAST
Everyone has a different love language, or ways that they prefer to show and receive love. Mine is food. If I feed you, I like you and if you want to show me you care about me, feed me. Did I just make myself sound like Audrey II? I swear I don’t go around demanding for people to feed me, but you would not like me when I am hangry. Where was I? Right. Food.
According the press release, IFC Midnight’s latest film The Feast…
…follows a young woman serving privileged guests at a dinner party in a remote house in rural Wales. The assembled guests do not realize they are about to eat their last supper.
Sounds simple, right? It’s not. The trailer shows the “young woman” as someone who does not talk much, there are glimpses of food preparation that just look angry, and then someone is getting sick and gagging. I’m all about the food, but this is one dinner invitation I would probably decline. I will only RSVP if I get to just watch those in attendance suffer and not risk my life.
Here is the trailer:
The Feast will be in theaters and available to rent on November 19.
