Boyd Holbrook Cast Opposite Hugh Jackman For WOLVERINE 3
Director James Mangold’s The Wolverine was a breath of fresh air for fans unkeen on its 2009 predecessor from director Gavin Hood. Since then and with the current climate in comic book move lore now leaving room for a forthcoming R-rated extravaganza, a third installation is currently lining up for a March 3, 2017 release and so from here on will be spurts of casting news to fill the void.
Bearing this in mind, leave that to sources over at Deadline who are now reporting the film’s newly cast antagonist in the form of Netflix series Narcos co-star Boyd Holbrook. The report cites his character will be an original character – “…a relentless, calculating and intense head of security for a global enterprise…”, opposite Jackman in his eighth and final stint as the iconic X-Men mainstay alongside actor Patrick Stewart in his fifth reprisal of X-Men character, Charles Xavier.
David James Kelly is providing the script with production currently slated for May.
