Brian DePalma’s DOMINO Rolls For Nicolaj Coster-Waldau And Christina Hendricks
We’re still a ways from Ric Roman Waugh’s new thriller, Shot Caller which opens on August 24 from Saban Films. In the meantime, news is abound ahead of Cannes and deals are coming together, the latest with the aforementioned film’s star, actor Nicolaj Coster-Waldau, now tapped to join actress Christina Hendricks in acclaimed director Brian De Palma’s new action thriller, Domino.
Petter Skavlan (Kon-Tiki, Sophie’s World) wrote the script for the film which centers on a Copenhagen police officer caught in a cat and mouse game with a duplicitous CIA Agent as our hero cop sets out from Scandinavia to Spain to track down a cop killer with the help of his late partner’s mistress and a fellow cop. Producing are Peter Garde and Michel Schonnemann while IM Global will present the film to buyers in Cannes this month. ICM who is financing will represent the film for North America.
